Nature Photography
Being out in nature with wildlife and our scenic surroundings brings me so much joy to share and relive my inspiration for my love of our great outdoors and natural surroundings. Located in the Pacific Northwest, I enjoy our many rivers, mountains, and forests. I want to show you how nature gives us inspiration, peace, relaxation, or vigor, and then go deeper to bring out images directly that touch your soul.
Something special must be be said for the amazing wildlife around us. I am interested in protecting habitat and ecological areas that support these animals. The time out in nature is where I renew my drive, find it calming from the daily stress, and renew my sense for accomplishing goals and love for all. The wildlife below attract me for hours to study and observe their movements. Building patient trust permits me to photograph special moments that I share here.
Changes to habitats here and around the globe have put so many species in peril. You can make a difference by supporting any of the following wildlife funds:
- The National Wildlife Federation
- The National Audubon Society
- World Wildlife Fund
- The Nature Conservancy

A Montana Journey
Our road trip took us to Montana to discover a Ghost town, our country's first National Park, Yellowstone, and learn from paleontologist at the Montana Dinosaur Center how to find dinosaur bones amid rocks in Choteau. Use the View Series button to see the images.
Firehole River Awakes (above)
The Firehole river in Yellowstone National park meets the early morning cool air as the vapor from the warm water rises into the cool morning air.
